Odin Works Lineup of Adjustable Buffers

Recently, I was browsing around the internet looking into different bolt carrier groups. I have heard of Odin Works making some BCG’s and other products for your rifle. So, I decided to go take a browse on what they had to offer. Immediately as I open there website I see them advertising an adjustable buffer for your rifle. I know there are other adjustable buffers on the market but I was curious to look into it, so I did.

Odin Works adjustable buffer comes in a few different variations. You have the AR-15 Lite, AR-15 Heavy, AR-10, and 9mm Buffer.

Overview

AR-15 Lite Buffer

The AR-15 Lite buffer body is made out of aluminum. It will come with 3 aluminum, 3 stainless steel, and 1 tungsten weight. With a variable weight of 2.1oz- 4.2oz. The light buffer is designed for your .223/5.56 NATO AR-15.

AR-15 Heavy Buffer

The AR-15 Heavy body is made out of stainless steel. It will also come with 3 aluminum, 3 stainless steel, and 1 tungsten weight. With a variable weight of 3.7oz-5.8oz. The AR15 Heavy is designed for your heavy caliber AR builds. So, your .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 Grendel, and .224 Valkyrie.

The AR10 buffer comes with 1 aluminum, 1 stainless steel, and 1 tungsten. With a variable weight of 3.45oz-5.8oz.

Finally, the 9mm buffer will come with 1 aluminum, 1 stainless steel, and 3 tungsten. With a variable weight of 5.4 oz-7.4 oz.

Odin Works design this adjustable buffer a little different. Instead of removing the roll pin and taking out the tip to replace weights. With Odin Works they decided to go through the front of the buffer with a removable set screw. Odin Works gives you the tools to remove the set screw for the buffer. Which is a smart and nice touch to the package.

You might be wondering how much all this might cost. In all actuality, it’s competitive to the AR-15, AR-10, and PCC buffers on the market. Odin Works Adjustable Buffer comes in at a price tag of $49.95 for all models. Which in my book is a steal and a deal for a buffer that is adjustable as Odin’s is.

Would you buy an Odin Buffer? Do you think the price is right? As, Bob Barker would say. Let me know in the comments below.
