FN 509 Limited Edition (Standard)

FN Herstal announced two limited edition runs of its FN 509 pistol. The new variants come in two-tone goodness. The slide will be rocking the flat dark earth (FDE) paint job. While the frame will be sporting an olive drab green (ODG) paint job for the limited edition runs of these FN 509’s.

The new FN 509 pistols will come in two configurations standard and tactical. 

Standard Edition

The standard edition of the FN 509 LE will come with a 4-inch barrel, ambidextrous controls, fixed luminescent iron sights, and a 17-round magazine capacity. The standard edition will also come with a 10-round capacity model for states with round caps.

Tactical Edition

The tactical edition of the FN 509 will be sporting a 4.5-inch barrel with a 4-inch slide, threaded barrel, FN low pro mounting system, fixed three-dot sights, with a 17-round and 24-round capacity. The tactical edition will also come with 10-round model for states with caps.

Features of the FN 509 Limited Edition

The FN 509 LE will come with front and rear cocking serrations, external extractor, loaded chamber indicator, and double action operation. Inside, 509 will have CHF barrel with a recessed target crown along with a polished chamber and feed ramp. 

The frame will have textured grips, interchangeable back straps, and a Picatinny rail for the mounting of lights, ambidextrous slide stop lever, and ambidextrous magazine release. Each magazine that comes with the FN 509 LE features high visibility, low friction follower.

Price 

The standard edition models of the FN 509 LE will be priced at $649. While the tactical edition will be coming in at $1,049 for both models.
