Recently, Brownells has announced the release of California Compliant versions of their Retro lineup of reproduction rifles. California compliance would call for the removal of key features of the Retro rifles that would ruin the historical significance and value of the retro rifles. Instead of removing features Brownells instead decided to install Battle Arms Development fixed magazine conversions into the Retro rifles.
