Memorial Day is a call to remembrance. A moment to remember the fallen of this great nation. These men have shed precious blood and given their lives for the principles and ideals of this nation for the past 200 plus years. It is in this moment…in this day that we remember their sacrifice to our great nation. It is a time that our country should wholeheartedly embrace and remember their sacrifice.
Discovering Atlas Gunworks and their amazing products has been an awesome experience. I had never heard of Atlas before shooting their 2011s at Pro Gun Club in Henderson the Day before Shot Show began. Overtime I became to realize Atlas makes the premier 2011s on the market. Period. Read more to find out why.
I began reading our First President’s address and it struck a cord with me. All the issues and themes we discuss today in America are covered in his farewell address. Instead of me trying to write something myself for President’s Day. I would rather lay silent, step back and let our First President George Washington speak to the nation again. His words are powerful, honest, and deep.
Back in early August the El Paso shooting happened where twenty-two people tragically lost their lives at the hands of Patrick Crusius. A month later CEO Doug McMillion released an internal memo to Wal-Mart employees regarding ending the sale of firearms and ammunition at Wal-Mart locations. The end of firearm and ammunition sales at Wal-Mart will take place once stores have depleted its current stock of both.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone around the world who celebrates this time of year. Hopefully, everyone is enjoying family and friends along with some good food.
Banning guns is not the answer. Violence will persist and people who want to do these things will find a way. Censorship is not the answer. Banning people there freedom of speech will only fuel the flames.
Tomorrow, House Democrats will try to push bill HR 1296 through the House and into the senate. The bill would reintroduce the 1994 assault rifle ban. While also banning nearly all semiautomatic rifles, as well as AR and AK pistols, and institute “buy back program” for your property.
Today, marks the 18th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. A day that will live in infamy in American history. On that morning 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists took control of four flights and caused tremendous loss of life on American soil. What if you didn’t have to ball on a budget? What would you build? Most of us when we build a rifle are always prioritizing what is important in the rifle build. We can usually splurge here or there on certain parts of the build. You might spend a little extra cash on the barrel, trigger, or BCG. You always look to make a highly optimized rifle but, it doesn’t have that full touch of complete. At, least I have that feeling during a build.
Yesterday, I read an article from USA Today which states, San Francisco, declares NRA a ‘domestic terrorist organization’ in resolution. When I read this headline. I honestly couldn’t believe it. I honestly thought it was fake news.
Many would tell you the pen is mightier than the sword. In many ways the written word is a deadly adversary. A pen is the tool of a writer and of a creative mind. Upon paper a writer let’s us into their imagination, hopes, dreams, and fears.
Anti-Gun Activist Ill Conceived Activism Only Hurts The Opportunity For Potential Dialogue In America.
The actions taken by Mr. Attey are ill conceived and reckless at minimum and are dangerous and incendiary at their height. His actions at that Wal-Mart does nothing to advance the conversation about violence in this nation. His actions only seek to further entrench the political divide that exists in this nation.
Lately, I have been thinking about what makes a good rifle build? Is it the quality of the parts? Is it about buying from established companies? Or is it about buying the top tier products in every part of your build?
One person might tell you to buy quality parts. My grandfather would say, “Buy quality cause you know it will last.” I do believe that to be true when purchasing goods. Putting good quality parts into your build you know it will give you the longevity you are looking for.

Yesterday, afternoon a 21-year old man decided to walk into a Wal-Mart in El Paso, TX with an AK-47 and evil intent in his heart. With a calm and ruthless demeanor he begins to shoot indiscriminately into a busy crowd of shoppers. Killing 20 and injuring 26 in the deadly aftermath of his shooting.
