Zev Technologies dropped a bombshell of news on the industry with some interesting addition to its extensive catalog. Yesterday, Zev unveiled on their Instagram account their support of the Sig Sauer P320 and P365 platforms. This is the first time Zev is stepping out of the Glock platform to make a pistol or accessories for another platform.
At shot show I had a chance to get my first look at their O.Z-9 HyperComp. The first thing that immediately struck me about the HyperComp was the ported barrel. My first initial thought was that it was a ported barrel and slide combination. Wrong! Dead wrong!
Zev Technologies has been steadily adding to the O.Z-9 lineup since the release of their pistol back in January 2019. Next, in the summer of 2019 Zev released the O.Z-9 Modular Build Kit. Finally, in the fall of 2019 Zev released the O.Z-9 Compact. Now, jump to early 2020 and Zev announces—the O.Z-9 Combat.
For consumers who have had the desire to invest in Zev’s new O.Z9 modular handgun, but the price was too rich for your blood. Now, is your time. Zev Technologies is offering a trade in program that will allow for you to trade in your stock Gen 3, 4, or 5 Glock towards the purchase of a new O.Z9 pistol.
Zev Technologies is adding a new member to the O.Z-9 family with the release of the O.Z-9 Compact. The full size O.Z-9 was released back in January at Shot Show 2019. The new compact O.Z-9 has similar dimensions of Glock 19.
Having the opportunity to build a custom pistol from the ground up is pretty interesting in my book. This potential project had even greater intrigue because you can use high quality Zev parts for the complete build.
Zev officially announced that they will be releasing a modular build kit using O.Z-9 platform and components.
